Οι Λιθουανοί καλλιτέχνες Diana Radavičiūtė και Saulius Valius ξεκινούν ένα ταξίδι στη Νάξο με σκοπό να συνομιλήσουν με τον εκλιπόντα καλλιτέχνη Klaus Pfeiffer στην έκθεση “Φώσφορος & Έσπερος – Διάλογος” στο πλαίσιο του Φεστιβάλ Νάξου 2024. Παρά τη φυσική του απουσία, η διαχρονική παρουσία του Klaus Pfeiffer, μέσα από τα έργα του στον Πύργο Μπαζαίου, υποδηλώνει την υπέρβαση της απλής φυσικής υπόστασης. Αυτή η δυαδικότητα απουσίας-παρουσίας χρησιμεύει στους καλλιτέχνες ως θεματικό πλαίσιο για να εξερευνήσουν την πολυπλοκότητα της ταυτότητας και της ύπαρξης.
Lithuanian artists Diana Radavičiūtė and Saulius Valius embark on a journey to Naxos with the intention of engaging in a discourse with the late artist Klaus Pfeiffer in the exhibition “Phosphorus & Hesperus – Dialogue” at Naxos Festival 2024. Despite his physical absence, Klaus Pfeiffer’s presence, through his artworks at the Bazeos Tower, seems ubiquitous, suggesting a transcendence beyond mere physicality. This absence-presence duality serves as a thematic framework for the artists’ exploration of the complexities of identity and existence.
